End my last day of work in Star Shipping on Wednesday, 21/04/2010.
Have been working there for 2 years and 2 months. Time really flies. Though monetary wise is not as good as other companies but I knew many reat and fun colleagues in these years. Been through retrenchment period seeing some colleagues who were close to me left and now its my turn to leave. Had a hard time deciding but wanted to take a look at the outside world so took up the courage and leave. Initially I was still looking forward to my last day of work but when it really comes its really 不舍得. Especially my bunch of finance people. I will miss our friday breakfast, the time when we always gossip and laugh so loud like nobody business in the a/c room. =) Maybe that's what ppl say blessing in disgusie. Because of leaving, then I know many people doted me so much! I received many blessing and presents! Haha Did not expect to receive so many gifts.
Got a red pkt from my manager, a GAP cardigan from seihui n meiling (y powerpuff girls), got a puma bag from my documentations ladies the place where I first started my work, chocolates from the newbie in a/cs and from Jady (whom I really got a shock when I rece the present). Lastly a hamper from Esther and Cathy (hod frm HR and Docs). I really loved them oh ya and Vinil the op manager who brought me to an Italian restaturant with nice ambience! THANKS! Star is a great place! A place where laughters always filled the air. I will cherish the memories we had in the past. Do take care and I will stay in contact with all of u!
Now I have to get ready to face my next challenge, my new workplace with new environment, new superior, new colleagues...haiz...mixed feelings =S
