GOODBYE IMPORT...HALO ACCOUNTS!
I didn't tell many people about it. Today is my first day to accounts dept. Yesterday could not really sleep. Why? I have been doing import for the past 8 months and getting along quite well with my colleagues and NOW having gg to new dept is a new beginning for me. I have to start all over again. Learn from scratch. Though I do have little knowledge for Accounts but when I really do it, its a little different haha.
Today, my company financial controller just briefed me about my job scope. I will be doing the Accounts Payable and Receivables. I'm in charge of the Jurong Port bill one of the Spore terminal. What I did today was just sorting out bills, chop chop date etc, generate debit notes. There are many steps to remember so I must be extra careful. Last time in import if I did something wrong, I can just re-submit or update but in accounts one small mistakes will mean big loss! OMG so scary but I am still learning.
Hope my interest for accounts will motivate me! Haha Hmm...ok got to go watch TV
