It as been a long time since this happen but I guess it will happen every single year just in case of any emergenc cases just that today is my first tme ever since I started working. So what is really the 'it' I am referring to?...Fire Evacuation Exercise.
Alarm started to ring sharply at 10am announcement was made and we had to leave the building by takng the stairs if not what else haha. I was thinking luckily my office is at 6th floor not vey high but when we started to walk, we were like walking round and round cause every 4 flights of steps only equal to 1 floor, OMG!!! I have not been walking stairs for long time.
Our assembly area was the carpark area like school time, our class was stated on piece of paper and we are required to quene up. Today, companies name were written on paper and staffs were to quene in line. Each of us was given abtle of water too. Luckily the weather was not hot as the rain had just stopped. After the whole exercise, all of us were to be back to office some took the lift but me together with some other colleagues walked up the stairs (pretending to be healthy) haha kidding. I was surprised that my GM climbed the sairs but tradegy came! Not somebody fainted but we were all locked up by the back door and could not get into the office haha that was stupid but we had no choice but to wait for people to see us and opened the door for us (we can't possibly walked down the stairs again and took lift)!
It was tiring I admit but it was fun too! Another good news is that my fat fat computer at work had slimmed down to flat screen yesterday! Hurray haha. It was noce lo after it slimmed down. Most of my colleagues monitor was grey but mine was black! So cool =)
